Welcome to Gates Belle Arts
Gates Belle Arts is a gallery and studio started in 2002, where I display art, teach watercolor and oil, and sell frames and art supplies. Edward Gates, my husband, writes poetry. I illustrate and sell his books.
I teach color value, tone, color identification, color scheme and color composition in oil, watercolor and mixed media. We use palette, knife, pencil and brush to compose portrait, still life, abstract, landscape and much more. In other words, we have fun.
